That it is "the Ideal State"? The Republic, the greater political work of Plato, deals with the question of justice and therefore of the questions what is a State just? and who is an individual just? The ideal State, according to Plato, is made up of three classes. The economic structure of the State rests in the class of the retailers. The security, in the military, and the political leadership is assumed by the king-philosophers. The class of a person comes determined by an educative process that it begins in the birth and it continues until that person has reached the maximum degree of compatible education with her interests and abilities. Those that completes all the educational process turn king-philosophers.
