Card Trick

... Introduction
A card trick is a classic demonstration of “magic.” To any youthful audience, a simple card trick may astonish or puzzle them. Anyone who knows some basic math can understand that math is the key point in many card tricks. One specific card trick consists of a trickster who has no knowledge of three cards chosen by the player, and can keep those three cards from the player while dealing out the cards four times. ... After the forth and final deal, the player is stumped on the fact that for the duration of the trick, never did he once see any of his cards. ... This card trick is simple and easy to understand when shown how it works. The secret to the trick is the math behind the cards. I chose this topic on a card trick because I think it interesting to learn exactly how a trick works when most people just accept it as magic, orSEAMTELA     The trickster starts by asking the player to pick 3 cards out of the deck without showing him. ... The player is told to place one of the three cards he has chosen on top of the first pile of 5, and bury that card with any amount of cards from the next pile of 15 (refer to diagram 1 for summary of “burying of cards"). He is then told to do the same with another chosen card on top of the second pile, and bury that card with cards from the 3rd pile of 15 cards. The player then places the 3rd chosen card on top of the 3rd pile of cards, and buries that card with any amount of cards from the next pile of 14. ... Position of cards throughout trick
After one studies the movements of the trickster at the beginning of the trick, one would notice that the trickster knows exactly where every one of the three cards are located within the pile. After the player places each card on top of the 3 piles, he is asked to bury each one with as many other cards from the other piles, but no matter how you bury them, their positions will not be disturbed.
