Rags And Riches, The Difference Between A Farmer’s Son And A Nobleman’s ;Dear journal, today I, Zach, son of David the nobleman, start another day in my wonderful life. Dear journal, today I, John, son of Paul the farmer, start another day in my life. Today after waking up in my comfortable bed of fine linen sheets and enjoying a meal of bread, juices and fruit I went to our vast grounds to play with my many toys. My father was busy as always and had to attend a meeting with the overseer of our lands and could not take me sailing on the Nile. On most days my father’s servants would spend many hours teaching me about math, science and the history of the world. They would also teach me to speak other languages. Today after waking up on my rough and scratchy sheets I dressed for the day. My short-sleeve robe is my only clothing, and is made of coarse linen. To protect my feet I tie on my sandals made of reeds. For breakfast l had a small meal of bread and fruit. After eating I went into the other room to help my mother with the chores.
