1. Describe the firm's intended customers.

2. Describe the unsatisfied needs of the customers that the firm is able to satisfy using its core competencies. Unsatisfied needs are not those the firm is not providing but rather those that would go unsatisfied by competitors if your firm did not provide them. The fulfillment of unsatisfied needs is one way that a firm positions, or differentiates, itself.
3. Describe how the firm uses its core competencies to satisfy those needs in such a way as to achieve strategic competitiveness and above average returns
