The year 2001 was a life altering year for all Americans. On September 11th, 2001 the
World Trade Center and a number of lives were lost forever. The terrorist attacks of September
11th brought with it a number of mixed emotions and a day that no one will ever forget. Allow
me to explain.
The morning before the attacks took place began like any other. It was a beautiful
day. The sun shone the same as it always had and business men and women awoke with the
intention of preparing themselves for what they thought would be just another simple day at
work. According to ABC News Correspondents Geraldine Sealey, Dean Schabner, Michael
McAuliff and Corey Goldman, the chaos for Americans began at about 8:50 a.m. when a
hijacked American Airlines passenger plane smashed into the northern tower of the World Trade
Center...
