The Immorality of Physician Assisted Suicide
Physician assisted suicide is nether right or moral. It goes against the morals of any God fearing person. Hospice care is the best way to take a terminally ill patient into a peaceful death with relatively little pain or suffering.
Death has always been a touchy subject in America, from the death penalty to abortion. Now the newest controversy over death is weather or not physician-assisted suicide should be legalized. There are many ways for a person with a terminal illness to handle there last days already; they can live as long as possible with all the medical care and technology money can buy, they can have hospice car which rejects any ideals to hasten death but also rejects any extreme medical ideals to prolong life which they know will never be normal or painless. The last way for people to handle their last days is the most controversial one, physician-assisted suicide. This is when a physician gives the patient a medicine, which peaceably puts the taker in a comatose state and then later kills whoever takes it.
I do not think that somebody killing him or herself or killing another innocent person could ever be justified. As a religious person I do not think God could accept this act...
