The History of American Football
Football is an outside sport that was developed in the United States in the early 19th
century. The sport manly derived for the two similar games, soccer and rugby football. It is said
that the game of football's real creator may have been the ancient Greeks, called Harpaston. The
game that the ancient Greeks played was by moving the ball down the field by either kicking it,
passing it, or running it (very much similar to the game played now). However, after looking
more in to the history of the game, its been shown that the American Modern form of football
originated from England (from of the game found around the 12 century). From the England to
the Americas, the game of football took one more turn to become what it is today. With football
moving in to the 19 century, several games begin to immerge. Such games were that of Soccer
and the game of Rugby (in which the game of football was born from these to sports).
The reason of the formation of football
In 1823, the modification of rugby became to game that America grow to love. In this
year carrying the ball across the filed was introduced when a young man (from an English
school) decided to do his own thing and disregard the rules of the game by tucking the ball under
his arm and running down the filed to the opposite opponents goal line...
