The History of American Football…
Football is an outside sport that was developed in the United States in the early 19th
century. The sport manly derived for the two similar games, soccer and rugby football. It is said
that the game of football’s real creator may have been the ancient Greeks, called Harpaston. ... However, after looking
more in to the history of the game, its been shown that the American Modern form of football
originated from England (from of the game found around the 12 century). From the England to
the Americas, the game of football took one more turn to become what it is today. With football
moving in to the 19 century, several games begin to immerge. Such games were that of Soccer
and the game of Rugby (in which the game of football was born from these to sports).
The reason of the formation of football
In 1823, the modification of rugby became to game that America grow to love. ... Because of his
disobedience to the rules of the game, a number of clubs came about, playing the carrying game
of rugby football. By the year 1863, the numerous clubs of football gathered together and
devised a game that put together every part of the game, from the kicking game, to the passing
game, and the running game, was all out in to the rules of football (changing it from rugby to the
modernized version of football). By 1871 a rugby football union was developed that adopted the
new rules and the old rules of the game. ...
The game takes its place
From the formation of the rules of the game, to the first rugby football game to be played
under new rules, Australia took it upon them self’s to play the first modernized football game in
the 19th century.
