Ethical Principles
Transnational Corporations are the basis for our society in a global world. TNC's have become more powerful than countries. Some of the top corporations in the world have become wealthier than continents of countries. This influx of wealth to corporations has made the rich richer, and the poor, poorer. For example, the top 20% of the world's population earns 74 times more than the bottom 20%, and the 200 richest people in the world have more money than the combined income of the lowest 40% {1.5 billion people} of the world's population. The ideal has been lost as business continues to grow in greed and size. The basis of every organization is to fulfill not only its shareholders pockets, but to grow the community, expand social programs, create healthy environment for the workers children, promote learning and diversity, and attribute power to its most important holders, its stakeholders.
