... Along with the right to free speech is censorship. In the music industry, censorship is heavily used in order to protect American values from the profane language of others. But at the same time, this censorship restricts people from their right to freedom of speech. ... Music censorship ignores the First Amendment that is given to Americans, and teaches us to remove the thoughts in which musical artist are expressing in their lyrics.
Shouldn’t musical artists have the right to verbally express themselves without the interruptions of censorship? ... The solution definitely is not censorship. Instead, music should be heard on special stations and channels—ones only adults have access to.
