Introduction
Many historians argue over the issue of how in fact the Second World War started, even though the purpose of that subject should include each and every one of us, and the reasons are, of course, multiple. The majority of professional historians, who study and analyze the origins of the Second World War, place the blame only on one person - Hitler, Adolf that in my opinion is mistaken. Others try to highlight the fact that Germanys economic power is the main factor, while I believe that the true cause is the political arrangements within the state. Therefore, I decided to stress the political matters between 1920 and 1945, through the lenses of National Socialist party and Nazism in Germany, as key factor for cause of war and as topic for my paper. The basic question is: Why did Nazism come to power in Germany, or, why did a system like Nazism come to power in Germany not in other industrialized countries, and caused a new world war?
The Birth of Nazism
Germany experienced political and economic crises after its defeat in World War I (1914-1918). A democratic government had replaced the monarchy that ruled the country. But the nation suffered from severe inflation and unemployment after the war ended. Many Germans lacked faith in the new government and began to turn to political groups that called for extreme changes...
