Macbeth's Diary
It was the day of great defeat at the battlefields. The Norwegians launched a fresh attack on our tired and down hearted soldiers. Yet Banquo and I led the soldiers out and won victoriously for our king and country. The Norwegians left and fled back to their country.
Banquo and I then left the bloody battlefields to share the good news with the king. But as we travelled through the forest we stumbled upon three withered and wildly clothed beasts. These strange figures did not look like inhabitants of the Earth, yet they were on it. From a distance they looked like women but as we got closer their beards for bided me to interpret them as such.
I then told them to speak if they were able to, and asked what they were. They then told me three prophecies...
