A Night of Fishing
It all started when I walked out the back door of my work and slammed the cold, white gate behind me. I was grinning ear to ear because I had just been let off an hour early. My stomach contained floating butterflies because I was anxiously waiting for what the night held for my friend and I. The unusualness of this night is what makes it most memorable. It ended up being a calming and sentimental night. That night I sat on the end of a dock and fished with friends, pretending as if we had no worries left in this world. It's not every night you get to stare at the big dipper with lazy red eyes and dream of floating to the moon. My eyes then drifted down to the calmness of the black water, fixating on the soft glow of lights that reflected off the water. If you were quiet as a mouse, you could hear the echoing of crashing waves as they worked their way through traffic and made music for our ears. It was indeed a night to cherish because I realized how all the elements came together...
