Marion Berry and Halle Berry need something to do after school. Marion is not athletic enough to play on the football team, and sister Halle does not have the patience to try out for the cheerleading squad. Their mother suggests to them that they get involved in something, because she does not get off of work until 6 o'clock. Halle decides to join an after school drama class. She always did like to have the spotlight on her, so this was the best opportunity for her to occupy her time. Marion, on the other hand, did not have many interests. He decided to go against his mother's wishes and not be involved in any constructive after school programs. A month later, Halle was starring in her first play. She even gave all of her friends and family backstage passes. Halle did get some bad news right before the show started...
