Persuasive Speech
Do you believe that the use of performance-enhancing drugs should be banned in sports? This is a question that sport administrations are facing in today's world. Many athletes today are being presented with the opportunity to take these drugs with the benefit that they will become stronger and better in their chosen sport. This is true, but many don't fully understand or choose to accept the long-term circumstances of using these drugs.
There are many reasons why these drugs should be banned in sports. One of which is that it simple hurts the one that takes the drug. The use of steroids can increase the risk of heart attack, change your mood swings and cause baldness, acne, and oily skin and hair. These drugs can create physiological dependence for the user because once they see the positive results of it, they will want to use it more and more until they feel like they need it to do well and succeed.
Second reason to ban use is that steroids can promote anger and rage in the user. This frequently results in others getting hurt which is often the partner of the user or fellow teammates...
