Pip's first visit to Satis house proves to be a sudden twist of his fate. Miss Havisham was an immensely rich lady and grim lady who lead of seclusion in her mansion called Satis house. Once she wanted a boy to play for her. Pip's sister knew about this through Mr Pumbleckook her uncle and Miss Havisham's tenant.She sent Pip with Mr Pumblechook. When they reached Satis house, a beautiful girl who seemed to be very proud received them. Only Pip was allowed to go in. The girl led him through dark passages with a candle to Miss Havisham's room.
It was a pretty large and dark room. A room, which had not seen sunlighy for years...
