Montag’s Adventure Montag changes throughout the novel. He changes in many ways. He finds out about the true Montag and what he likes and what he desires. In the beginning he has problems but in the middle of the novel certain people and events change the way Montag lives his life. In the beginning Montag has a bunch of problem that he does not acknowledge “His symbolic helmet numbered 451 on his stolid head(3)” one being his job Montag is a fireman. He burns the books but in his life he rally would enjoy reading them. He has problems burning the books along with the people. He also has problems with the mechanical hound that works with him. The hound does not like him and he can not handle being with him.
