The Taliban's Law
The Taliban is a group of Afghans trained in religious schools in Pakistan with former Islamic fighters or mujahedin. They originally started in Pakistan. They than traveled to Afghanistan and took over the city of Kandahar. As they grew they later went on to take of the capital of Afghanistan, Kabul, in September 1996. The leader of the Taliban was Mullah Omar. The Taliban said their aim was to set up the worlds most pure Islamic state. The group is made up of Pushtans. Pushtans make up most of Afghanistan's population. The Taliban is fundamentalist group that have very strong restrictions and law's. The Taliban had 90% of Afghanistan under their control...
