SYNDROME
Down's syndrome, is a disorder that is present at birth. Down's syndrome was names after John Langdon.
It is characterized by mental retardation and such physical features as
upward-slanting eyes
flat noise
a small head
short stubby hands.
Also the ears and teeth of a down's syndrome person are abnormally shaped and small. The mental retardation can vary from mild to severe. With some down's syndrome having being dealt with heart disorders, poor vision, and respiratory problems.
Down's syndrome is caused by the abnormality in the number of chromosomes. A normal person has 46 chromosomes 23 from both parents. But a person with down's syndrome have 47 chromosomes. It is said to be sex linked with an abnormality in the genes of one of the parents...
