Death
All of the children in the village of Battle Creek enjoyed the many stories told by the older men of the Spartan tribe. There were stories of battles, invasions, and heroes in the years they walked the earth. There was one boy, named Caleb, who was always listening to the wise men speak and would even ask his grandfather, one of the wisest men of the tribe, to tell him more stories of the past. Caleb and his grandfather grew very close, so it was natural for Caleb to become upset when his grandfather got ill.
Everyone in the village visited Caleb's grandfather who now was lifeless lying on his bed. Caleb did not understand what was going on with all the people entering and leaving the tent with sad expressions on their faces. He asked his mother why everyone was in tears. His mother, showing sympathy, replied by saying his grandfather has fallen ill and he has reached the end of his path of life.
"What do you mean, end of his path? Caleb asked, still confused...
