We went to war with Iraq for many different reasons. We wanted to stop the threat of terrorism by ending the Saddam regime. We wanted to make the dictating government into a democracy so the country could be a safer place. We accomplished most of the goals that we set out to do. The president declared the end of the war on May 1st 2003. Operation Iraqi freedom has a lot of people here in the United States asking the same question. Should we keep troops in Iraq since the war is declared over or should we pull them out of the country and let the Iraqis deal with their own problems? My answer to that question is yes; we need to keep troops in Iraq. We should keep troops on Iraq to make sure that we finished what we started.
Pulling out of Iraq now would be a very big mistake...
