She was tired of heading into town twice a week and sitting across the room from Dr. Price to talk about the night that had changed her life. Every time she went in, she was forced to relive everything she had been through, and it was starting to take a toll on her. Before opening up to anyone, Mia had been able to push the ordeal into the back of her mind and concentrate on something else like schoolwork, but now she was forced to deal with everything that had happened.
Before going to see Dr. Price, Mia had felt afraid most of the time, but now she felt afraid all of the time. She had to hold her breath whenever she was near anyone male to keep from having an anxiety attack. Her grades were falling, and for the life of her, she couldn't seem to concentrate enough to raise them. All her time, it seemed, was spent talking to Dr. Price or conversing with the lawyer her parents had hired for her case...
