Introduction
DNA and protein play essential roles in cell maintenance, most specifically information storage and usage, and are therefore considered the most interesting organic compounds by many biologists. (Cooper, T.G. 1997). Proteins, enhanced through billions of years, are the most structurally complex and functionally sophisticated molecules known to science. (Alberts, et al., 1998). DNA, despite its chemical simplicity, has an enormous amount of stored and packaged information as well as raw material for genes. (Alberts, et al., 1998) Knowing the quantity and content of DNA and proteins in cells aid scientists in the understanding of complex physiological and chemical processes and are also the basis for research, manipulation and overall understanding of cell function...
