Thesis-Napster revolutionized the music industry. In 1999, and 18 year-old college dropout named Shawn fanning changed the music industry forever with his file-sharing program called Napster. His idea was simple: a program that allowed computer users to share and swap files, mostly music, through a centralized file server. Napster changed the face of music and gave it to the fans that were unable to handle the $17 dollar cost for their CD, which may have had only one song on it the buyer liked. This idea grew into a major music library of sorts with over 20 million subscribers.
I. Napster's becomes more and more famous.
A. In 1999 Napster broke onto the scene, and at the height of its popularity had over 20 million users. The Napster user includes all ranges of people old and young, but mainly focuses on college students...
