How to Shoot a Game Situation Free Throw
Basketball games tend to get intense and a lot of times to win a game your team has to be able to make a free throw; which is definitely harder said than done. When free throws really come into play is towards the end of the game when the losing team is trying to stop the clock without calling a timeout, so they foul hoping the person shooting the free throws miss them and that the team fouling can get the ball back. A free throw is an uncontested 15-foot shot. Sounds easy, but use have to be able to picture a crowd yelling at you and the opposing team trying to distract you while shooting. But there are ways to conquer these obstacles.
1. First of all you have to be completely focused. I was an 80% free throw shooter for the year and what I do is I step back and gather myself, because you were just fouled. I take a good look at the basket and tell myself that is the easiest shot there is in the game. I focus on the part of the rim in which I am trying to aim for, which I aim for the back of the rim...
