In God's Image
According to (Genesis 1:27) in the Bible, we know that man is created in God's image. God is good, holy, pure, and righteous, and so he created man with the same features, the traits that he continues to love and require. In Genesis 1:31, God acknowledges the goodness of man. Though the image was unperfected with the fall of Adam and Eve, it is not eliminated. It is by God's grace that we are able to recapture the Godly image and confine the characters of sin. When God created man he gave him a unique character and status in creation.
After man was created out of the elements of the earth, God "breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul' (Genesis 2:7). As a result of this divine action, man has both a material and spiritual nature. The spiritual nature of man reflects his being created in God's image. When God first created the body of man from the dust of the earth, it was without life until God breathed into him...
