Friends Help on Harry Potter

All through literature, authors use many techniques to show themes. Each author has their own style to show the theme. In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, J.K. Rowling uses characterization to show the theme that friends help you through all of life's tasks.
There are many times throughout the book where we see how Harry's friend's help him through life's tasks. One of the main characters who shows us how he helps Harry through his tasks is his godfather Sirius Black. When Harry is going through a tough time at school because hardly anyone believes he didn't put his name in the Goblet, he says " the prospect of talking face-to-face with Sirius was the only bright spot on a horizon that never looked darker" (Rowling 313). When Harry's name came out of the Goblet of Fire on Halloween night, everyone believed Harry had done it for attention, everyone except Hermione and Sirius. So, all of his classmates think he is stuck up and do not want to talk to him...
