There are two dimensions that do stand out to me as things that have shaped my life. I feel that I am an educated person who is socially responsible. I also feel that I am an educated person that practices leadership within my community. However, there is one dimensions that I feel I would like to further develop at Kalamazoo College. The dimension that I would like to further explore and develop is intercultural understanding. If you can be socially responsible in many ways you can earn the respect of many people in your life, so this has been very important to me. While in high school, I taught Sunday School at my church. This was definitely something I enjoyed doing. That would be away that my social responsibility has effected community service. While in school, I will admit, I was a procrastinator. But, if I was in a group project, I always did my part. If I was assigned some portion of the project I always had the work done. In the workplace, if I told someone I would work for them, or cover a shift, I would always do that.
