Physical and Biological
The equipment portion of the tank is all brand new and was completely rinsed of any manufacturing residue. The aquarium is a 55 gallon Aqua-Tech brand glass tank with a black plastic top and bottom and siliconed edges. An underwater scene is securely attached to the back of the aquarium. The background is double sidedone side has a plant scene with a black background to it and the other side has a plant scene with a blue background. It is currently attached with the blue side showing through the tank. The filter is an Aqua-tech 30-60 external hang-on type that attaches to the top of the tank (placed on the left side). The filter has places for two pre-fab carbon cartridges and a long, plastic tube that goes down in the tank for suctioning the water to filter debris. The hood is made of black plastic and has a glass area under the lights. There are two separate fluorescent lights that sit next to each other on the hood. The heater is attached to the lower portion of the right side of the tank to keep the temperature at approximately 76-78 degrees F...
