“An Accident” I was merely a child when it happened. The day I was persecuted for a crime I did not commit. The day I was wrongly accused. The day I felt betrayed by my own mother! It all began on a stormy winter day. My family and I had just moved into our new house and were extremely excited. The four of us; my mum Katrina, Dad Jim, little brother Jake, and I all decided to make one last stop at Grandma’s house. There was a lot of snow from the storm we had recently had. So my mum, Katrina, loaded Jake and I into our car. The two of us are notorious for fighting so she left us with the warning, “Dad and I will be ready to go in two minutes, so we better not catch you fighting or you’ll have to cut the lawn with scissors!” Hearing this I knew I better listen, but my brother was not so wise.
