The article I am critiquing is Libido for Life, found in the magazine Every Woman. Libido for Life was written by Anne Moore and deals with the concerns of the sexual drives and activities of a woman. Anne says that the best source to talk to about sex is your health care provider. While they do know best, this is probably the last person that women go to with this issue. Usually, women tend to converse with their friends, family members, and the media before even considering consulting with their gynecologists about their sexual life. Anne states that "our society isn't geared to helping women understand and express their sexuality". I completely agree with this statement. Our society hardly helps women understand their bodies, let alone their sexuality. I say this for the reason that most tests for diseases or research are mostly geared towards men and the results are for men. The side effects or results could be totally opposite for a woman...
