Dilemma Dealing with Iraq
This paper seeks to examine the positive and negative outcomes of what seems to be an inevitable U.S. led coalition to disarm Iraq. September, 11 2001 catalyzed many of President Bush's foreign policy initiatives, but it did not cause him to change the ones that he had run on throughout his election. Saddam Hussein, the dictator of Iraq, is unquestionably a terrible leader that should be removed, but the question is whether he is worth removing by force. In regard to the word "worth," many in the international community and many people in the America, wonder if Hussein is an immediate threat to our security. In addition, this paper will examine the United Nations role and whether or not they are standing by their resolutions or if they are more concerned solely with stability and peacefulness in the international system.
