The service that I have chosen is the United States Marine Corps. This organization has been around for more than 228 years. Each marketing mix can be affected by the following:
a. Intangibility is a service that is not physical and cannot be touched (Pride, pg 324). The US Marine Corps has many intangibles, however, I will just focus on one, the pride of belonging. Being part of an organization that has been so successful for so long is an indescribable feeling that you will never be able to physically see.
b. Inseparability is being produced and consumed at the same time (Pride, Pg 325). The US Marine Corps enlists about 32,000 Marines each year. However, at the same time about fifteen percent of that 32,000 gets out four years later...
