The debate on abortion has been a controversial topic for many years. Today the problem still has not been completely solved. Many people have mixed emotions about whether or not abortion should be legal. People's morals and values take control on their decision over feelings about abortion. Should women have the right to choose whether or not to have an abortion? There have been several court cases, violent acts, and protests in the battle over abortion.
Before the court case Roe vs. Wade, abortion was legal. The United States had passed a law based on "British common law". This law stated that before the fetus "quickened", an abortion is not considered a crime (Craig, O'Brien 39)...
