Obvious challenges; Political, Economic, Religious and Social were going to put America in disarray. Turmoil was stirring throughout the Nation of what to do with this new freedom. Paul E. Johnson and Sean Wilentz's The Kingdom of Matthias has vivid examples of the effects that America went through during and after the revolution. This time was very pivotal in making America what it was from the moment we received independence to where we are now as the most powerful nation in the world.
