In the play Oedipus the king many things happen. In this play there are many people that are responsible for what happens to him. As well as his parents and the Gods. They all have done something or have done nothing and are responsible to what happens to Oedipus.
Oedipus chose to listen to the prophecy he left in Corinth. He suffered from Hubris. Oedipus was blind about the truth of himself. Since he had choosen to follow this prophecy he went through alot when he was the King. At the time when he was in Thebes he had to justify his downfall. At the end of the play Oedipus takes out his eyes...
