Background Information:
DNA is stored in the nucleus of every eukaryotic cell. Also DNA is a nucleic acid, largest of the macromolecules. The structure of the DNA molecule is double helix. The Franklin, Watson, and Crick were the first to observe DNA.

Materials:
200-mL plastic cup, distilled water, piece of onion, salt, hot plate, 1000-mL beaker, thermometer, liquid dishwashing detergent, 3 g meat tenderizer, backing soda solution, ice, 10-mL graduated cylinder, 10-mL alcohol solution, glass stirring rod, tongs

1. Take piece of yellow onion, gram of non-iodized salt, 10-mL of dishwashing liquid, and 90-mL of distilled water.
