John Keats
John Keats started life in October of 1795 in London to parents, Frances Jennings Keats and Thomas Keats. He was the oldest of the four children, himself, Fanny, George and Tom. They also had another brother who died at birth. In 1804 his father was killed in a riding accident and after the children moved, along with their mother to Edmonton. Six years later his mother died from tuberculosis, a disease that would later consume her three sons. After her death the children were left under the care of Richard Abbey. Keats and his two brothers attended school at Enfield, where John Clarke taught. At school Keats was a very avid reader and also a fighter, all five feet of him! According to Keats, "My mind has been the most discontented and rest less one that ever was put into a body too small for it...
