Money may not buy happiness, but I haven’t seen many landlords that accept good will for rent. I haven’t ever filled my stomache with content. I’ve never seen a homeless person trembling in the snow that looked up at me and rasped through bleeding chapped lips “Ma’m could you spare any blissfulness.” The truth is money is important. The truth is, debt is a serious problem crippling middle America. The truth is, all of this could be avoided. Knowledge is all it takes. Wisdom started at a young enough age it becomes habit. You are young adults and will one day control a percentage of the the economy, and yet according to the book America’s Money Skills Report Card, only 32% of parents talk to their children regularly about personal finance or money matters. So…here I am with an eight minute crash course on money management for the rest of your lives. Good routine needs to start now and you can start it. You can do it and it not hard. It’s not a tremendous difficulty when you are educated about debt. And you won’t even have to worry with debt if you learn to budget. Well, and if you do that when you’re young you can have money to invest with earlier, meaning an easier and happier living when you’re older. These are all easy steps young adults can do to manage their money for optimum gains. Why does it matter? You’re all just kids. You’re not a real force to be reckoned with right?
