Pro-choice, what a horrifying ideaology. If your mother had
exercised her so called right to choose death for you, you would not
have had the opportunity to eat breakfast this morning, drive your car to school or work, or even read this paper. Abortion can cause serious physical and emotional side effects, is unfair to the unborn child and most importantly, is murder. It is a poor alternative to responsibility and should be abolished.
A friend of mine, some time ago discovered that she was pregnant. She went through a series of thoughts, which resulted in the decision to have an abortion. She expressed to me that she had to have the abortion in order to continue doing well in school. Nothing that was said to her changed her mind about her decision. After the abortion was performed, she never returned to school and went through horrible stages of guilt and depression from which she's never recovered from. I know that any little excuse may sound good enough for an unenthusiastic expectant mother to have an abortion...
