Of Mice And Men Essay
When people are trying to achieve the same goal, everyone has a different way of doing it. The novel Of Mice And Men by John Steinbeck is set during the Great Depression. Lennnie, George and Candy are all migrant workers seeking freedom. Although they all share the same ambitions hopes and dreams, Lennie, George and Candy all have different interpretations of the dreams.
Lennie has a very unique way of looking at the dream. Although he is mentally challenged and cannot really take care of himself, he is a very determined strong worker. In a way Lennies dream of having a little house with George is mostly Georges dream. To Lennie, the rabbits are a symbol freedom. This is seen when George and Lennie are in the brush resting for the night, and Lennie says, Tell me-like you done before.....
