Eating Disorders
Eating disorders are hidden addictions. There are so many women affected by them daily but have limited support. People tend not to realize the dangers associated with bulimia and anorexia. I would like to struggle with obesity and my eating disorder with you.
All my life I was called chunky. What is chunky I wondered. I eventually came to realize chunky was a cute word for fat. As I grew older I grew out of the word chunky and people began to call me fat. You would be amazed at the way people would just come right out and tell you they felt you were fat. "Hey girl, getting a little thick around the waist", "Hey might want to back away from the table...
