INTRODUCTION


Background of the Study

     A web log or blog is generally defined as a “personal website.” It allows you to easily publish a wide variety of content to the web. ...      Web logs can also take on a variety of formats, not just written text and links. ... Trends are gearing towards the academic and journalistic function of web logs, which may be useful to us in the long run.
     With this in mind, a research paper on the utilization of web logs by Filipinos who live outside the country and how they create an online community is proposed. This will enable Filipinos to learn the various uses of a web log, as well as examine the motivations of current blog users.
