In the winter of 2000 a little kid called Jonas Eide became
bored with his life and decided that he wanted to start a band.
So he mentioned his idea to 2 of his friends (Andreas Jahrn & Joakim Poosz)
witch both played guitar, and they agreed to join him on his quest for world domination;)
But they needed a bass player, and didn't know of anybody that could play,
so they just asked another friend (Andreas Nilsen) if he wanted to join the band,
and he did. Only problem was that he had never played bass. So now they were 4.
The day after they had their first band rehearsal, witch was the second day that
Jonas ever played drums, it actually kind of worked.
The same week they decided to book their selves on playing a concert for their
school at the end of the semester, and they kicked out one of the guitarists
(Andreas Jahrn). He just wasn't good enough, and was fucking annoying!!
The same week Jonas's best friend (Henrik Herwell) came over to see them play,
and they asked him to sing a song, because Poosz didn't want to be the vocalist anymore.
He picked up the microphone, made a horrible sound, and became the newest member of the band.
Some time after Henrik and Jonas saw the movie Starship Troopers, where the name
"tango urilla" was mentioned, they hade a good laugh, and decided to call the band
"Tanga Urrila"..
