  INPUTS/OUTPUTS AND PROCESSING
  
  INPUTS:
  For the new database the data that will be input are:
  
       Student ID this is the unique id for the student, so that the student can be identified by the id alone
       Forename the first name of the student
       Surname the last/family name of the student
       Address the address where they live, so that he can send letters to the address
       Emergency contact number the number to call in case of an emergency concerning the student
       Mobile number their student's mobile number
       Registration groups what registration group the student is in
       Target minimum grades the minimum grade they are required to get
       Attendance their average attendance
  
  OUTPUTS:
  The information that will be the outputted from the system is:
  
  The main thing that will be the output of the system will be information about the students. As my end user is a head of year; the school requires him to give them information about all the students in his year.
  The things are output are:
       Reports these are reports of the students progress, which include all the information that a teacher needs to access them
       Forms these are small windows or interfaces that show the data that is stored in tables that are linked to it.
       Grid grades this is a place where all the grades of the students are kept on. They contain the working grade, predicted grades and target grades for every subject, for every student as well.
  Looking at the inputs one would expect to have many outputs, however as you can see from the above there are not many things that come out of the database. This shows that this system is very input reliant, so without the input the system would really be useless.
  
  PROCESSING:
  
  There is no specific type of processing that goes on in the system, but it still has all the usual processing required for any database. The data processing that are carried out during the process are:
       Sorting this is when all the data is sorted in a particular order, for example from A-Z or from Z- A.
       Filtering this is when the system filters out the whole database using search fields, so that it can produce a specific result...
