Biography of Hitchcock
On August 13, 1899, Alfred Hitchcock was born in a rich Catholic family which was living in Leytonstone, a town near London.
Hitchcocks father was a stern father. When Hitchcock was four or five, he was sent to the police station with a note by his father. The officer read the note and then locked Hitchcock in a cell for about five minutes, saying This is what we do to naughty boys. The discipline at Alfreds next school, St. Ignatius College, was no less strict. Hitchcock recalled that that horror of corporeal punishment in that school, like going to the gallows. For this reason, Hitchcock disliked anything related to evil heartily in his teenage.
