Intertextuality implies a close relationship between two texts in different forms. How is this close relationship shown in the two texts set for study by you?
Intertextuality is the recycling of ideas, motifs. Intertextuality compared to texts distinguishes them to be 'not original'. When authors or films makers produce a book or a film they are usually integrating knowledge or techniques from other texts. Hence film techniques in the TMR have been developed to create and evoke emotions and feelings similar to that found in TGG however this is achieved through language techniques. Context and recurring themes and ideas also play a role in creating a relationship between the two texts.
