Many cultures have contributed great epics to this world. There are countless epics that are great and invaluable to their respective cultures. Granted epics stories tell belief systems of cultures and societies. Greek epics such as The Iliad infused characters with honor system and ideologies base on their belief systems. It can also be seen from the Chinese epic Journey To The West that such a system of heroic codes and ideology also exits. The similarity brings us together as humans but differences set us apart as cultures. Greeks clearly have a culture that is different from Chinese. From the culture, ideas of how society is governed are radiant through their epics. Greek epics in essence can be closely proportional to Chinese epics, as well as differences that set each of these cultures apart, isolating ideas that make a culture unique.
