Capital Punishment
Society's creation of government was inevitable because authority is necessary to run a certain society. Government makes laws that in effect have punishments, which can range from a verbal warning to torture. One of the most ominous penalties however, is the death penalty, where the convicted person's life is taken. Capital punishment should not be a process of any particular government.
Life is something that is so sacred the taking of it should not even be considered. With every life taken via the death penalty the sacredness of life becomes degraded. Humans are made in God's image and are created by God; the destruction of God's creation is slapping God in the face. Life is something that God controls not the government. Killing someone eliminates a chance to minister to the convicted, and damns then to hell. Some even go to say that the death penalty causes murders because it puts less value on life itself...
