Orford dictionay defines education as 'a formal test of knowledge and ability' . A person who is anot able simply fails the examination. A person who cannot write few words in the qualifying exam, can you expect him to write the future of the nation ? Today we declare proudly that india is a democratic nation. I can bet upon the point that 90 % of the politicians would not even know the the meaning of the word 'Democracy' . Democractic government means government by and of the people. Then what is the use of such a government where our leaders itsels if illiterate. Therefore while electing our representatives if we have a qualifying exams determining the knowledge and ability of the person , we can atleast short list the people or we can better say that qualifying exam if like taking out the diamonds from the coal mine where the coal mine is out government. A recent report from a private firm confirmed that more than 70% of our politicians are illiterate.So how can these type of people understand and solve our problems...
