The Circulatory system isn't just made up of the heart and the use of the lungs. When you take a breath of air it doesn't just go through your body by it's self. First you take a breath, the air goes in your mouth and goes down the throat on its way through the lungs. Then the air is pumped into the lungs. It goes through and is filtered for the heart. Once it's in the heart it goes through the vien then it runs down into the Right Atrium into the valve and goes into the Right ventricle, to the pulminary artery lunge again and into the pulminary vien which the carrys it to the left atrium into the laive passes through the left ventricle through the aorta artery and delivers all oxygen and nutrients to each cell delivered by the blood stream and starts over again. This process doesn't take very long and it happens over and over again. And when you take care of yourself blood can smoothly pass through each vien and artery. Blood is important because it brings everything that a human cell needs with it, like nutrients and oxygen so the cell doesn't ware down. Millions of blood cells die but those millions of cells that die get replaced at the same time.
